What blogging should be in my humble opinion
Somewhere along the way, blogs became something people felt they had to produce rather than something they actually wanted to say.
I like reading blogs. They're a fun insight into a person's journey. Whenever I want to learn something new, before docs, before forums or asking ai, the first place i go is blogs. I feel like they give me a summary of what to expect, how to approach a new problem, or what to avoid early.
The whole point of a blog is that there's a person behind it. You see their experience, their mistakes, The weird shortcut they discovered while debugging at night that could save me hours.
If AI writes all of that for you, what exactly are you sharing?
You're not sharing your knowledge. You're merely generating content.
And sure, AI is useful. Use it to fix your grammar( which I do most times😂 ), clean up a rough draft, find a better way to explain something, or help when you're staring at a blank page. That's different.
We need people who actually built the thing, broke the thing, learned something, and bothered to write about it.
That's what blogs were for in the first place.
